Katharine Hepburn died today. Even though she was 96, it still bummed me out. She has always been one of my favorite people, let alone favorite actress.

She was that rare thing- a strong woman who wasn't afraid to say what she thought, do what she wanted and wear pants when the whole world gasped in shock. She never apologized for being strong, never apologized for being a feminist and definitely never apologized for living life the way she wanted to.

If you haven't read her biography, do yourself a favor and do so. She was a fascinating lady and a true person.

Also rent The Philadelphia Story, it's my favorite. ;-)
