Tell you the truth I used to think the world had changed- ie become more compassionate etc, but like fresh perfume, it wore off in just a matter of time. I now believe the world is back to its mean, nasty self. Even more so since now more people are having to work harder for less money. Believe me. I talk to "America" every day on the phone. People are still major assholes about things that don't matter. And they still take it out on anyone who is near by.
