Now I know you're probably going, "Yes, Bluestarhalo, we feel your pain. We know that. But why are they stupid this time?"

Well, in case you didn't know, oh gentle reader, my state is out of gas. I don't mean that in a literary, spiritual lack of energy sense, but in a very literal-gas stations are having to close-sense.

Gas price has gone from $1.40 to $3.00 and up, in two days. (One station in Scottsdale has sky rocketed up to $4.00)

Wanna know why? People are stupid. WEll, that plus the fact that our pipe line broke last week. The single pipe line that is responsible for getting gas into our ENTIRE FRIGGIN state broke. It's fixed now, but it sits empty because the company that owns it can't do squat until the Federal Goverment says they can. I.E. they have to have it inspected and licensed and blah de blah de blah.

So... the great state of Arizona has been having gas trucked in. Which was working okay, if rather slowly. But now, because PEOPLE ARE STUPID and have been running around topping off their cars, loading down extra gas cans, filling up both tanks on their trucks and basically acting like 'Effin morons, we now have a gas shortage.

Beautiful.

Did I mention how glad I am I don't have a job nor a long commute to do?

In some parts of the valley it is taking people an hour or longer to get into a pump to get gas. The lines are around the block. Miles of cars just sitting in traffic lanes. People have had accidents. Because to conserve gas you need to turn off your air conditioner, people are running around like fools because it's so god damn hot they're melting in their cars...

Yep. People are stupid.
