All day I've had 'Kathy's Song' and 'America' in my head.
My newest musical find is Joseph Arthur. His album is called Redemption's Son. If you like Nick Drake, Tom McRae or just poet guys with guitars, you'll like him. The album moves from mood to mood and doesn't stay in one 'mode' of music. The only complaint I have is that the album didn't come with lyrics. For some reason that bugs me. Harder for me to learn the songs, no doubt.
I feel as though I am traveling around, humming one long bass note, colored in blue.
It's melancholy.
